That Summer Burn-out

I suppose it was bound to happen, sooner or later. I was chugging along right up until the heat of summer hit me... and then I stalled. I'm not so proud as to say I couldn't push through the stagnation, but the fact remains that here we are in late September, and I'm still finding new ways to stay locked in stasis. There's editing yet to be completed in the final eight chapters, and, well, I need a long trip up into the cool mountain air to find my bearings again. To rediscover my purpose. It has been tough to focus with all that has happened this year, this summer, and I have allowed my doubts to creep in.
