About Me

(Jack-of-All-Trades and Master of None)

E.A. Eikenberry, circa 2024

E.A. Eikenberry is a recovering romantic and former automotive photojournalist with sweet spots for deliciously crafted stories, hot caramel macchiatos, and even hotter Gibson guitars. He lives a quiet life in Southern California with his wife, three children, two guinea pigs, one tortoise, and four peace-wrecking dogs. Schrödinger’s Heart is his debut novel—a contemporary romance and labor of love that took far longer to write than expected.

Because, dogs.

Mission

To write the best stories I can, naturally, and maybe earn a living while doing it. In a way, I'd like to give back after my years of enjoyment as an avid reader of Science Fiction, Fantasy, Military Fiction, and Romance. This is going to be a great adventure. I cannot wait to share all of my characters with new readers!

Vision

I have plans for three more novels, exploring new worlds and new characters, but always with a dash of realism included. All fall into the Historical Romance category, with two of them coming in a series and sharing a setting and characters. I love learning about new lands and historical events. The Napoleonic Wars and England during the time of King Edward Longshanks are two periods I am heavily researching. Regency London holds a special place in my heart and will be the setting for my next book.
